One of our favorite musical finds of the last few years has to be Kawehi, with her wonderful sense of rhythm, buttery-smooth voice, and joie de vivre, the one-woman band is a real star. Here, she performs two tracks from another great artist, Björk – Joga and Army of Me.

Leo Moracchioli pays tribute to the late, great Tom Petty with a fantastic cover version of his 1989 classic Free Fallin‘. It starts out as a smooth take on the original, then gets bathed in Leo’s crispy, crunchy metal coating.

The coversongs subreddit dug up this rare gem from a few years back – “Weird Al” Yankovic performing a cover version of The Postal Service’s morbid 2003 ballad, We Will Become Silhouettes, played in his trademark thrash-polka style.

Some people are or were consistently great that no matter how beloved they become, it’s still possible to take their contributions for granted. Polyphonic takes a look at one shining example: Freddie Mercury, Queen’s powerful, versatile and expressive frontman.

Remixer and composer Melodysheep used sound samples and footage from The Wizard of Oz to create a wonderful and ethereal new track perfectly suits the dreamy feel of the film. We love the way he incorporated the Tin Man’s clank into the rhythm.

Musician Vladimir Peña presents a wonderfully different, and highly captivating cover version of Radiohead’s 1997 classic track Karma Police, performed in four part harmony on his trombone. For a minute there, we lost ourselves… we lost ourselves.

(PG-13 Lyrics) Guess who’s got the party jumping, travel the dark and all the pumping… There’s something about Die Antwoord’s banger of a track that lends itself perfectly to a heavy metal interpretation, especially under the masterful guidance of Leo Moracchioli.

Puddles Pity Party bumped into Cáit O’Riordan of famed punk-folk band The Pogues and convinced her to join him in a duet of I’m A Man You Don’t Meet Every Day, a traditional Irish folk song the Pogues’ famously performed on Rum Sodomy & the Lash.

A rare performance from a one-shot supergroup comprised of John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, and Mitch Mitchell, as they rock out a rough-hewn track that’s as good as any garage blues we’ve ever heard. Bonus points for the silly chat between Lennon and Mick Jagger.

Brass Against the Machine teamed up with vocalist Sophia Urista to create an amazing and energetic mashup, which combines the intensity of Rage Against the Machine’s Freedom with Beyonce’s Freedom. Download the track here.

Musician Davie504 strung together footage of him playing 25 different bass guitars from his collection to form a single, cohesive bass solo. We love ourselves a good slap bass funk riff – though we’re feeling the strange urge to play some ToeJam and Earl now.

We can say with 100% certainty that when you click “play” that you’re going to be subjected to Rick Astley’s way overplayed Never Gonna Give You Up. But Samurai Guitarist has breathed new life into the track by revamping it in the style of old spaghetti western soundtracks.

South Korean beatboxer Bigman presents his entry for the Grand Beatbox Battle Wildcard 2018, a fantastic mix of fat, tongue-twisting beats, musicality, and a sweet, smooth lead vocal mixed in for good measure.

A beautiful couple drive to a secluded house, following an instruction manual to the letter. Director and animator Ugo Bienvenu lends his slick retro comic book style to the music video for Dolly.Zero, an electronic ballad by Antoine Debarge.
