Mattel built this lengthy Hot Wheels track down the side of a building in Barcelona, Spain using numerous sets of their wall-mountable tracks to create a 59-foot-tall course. Though we still think this setup takes the prize. (Thanks Gary!)

CerealBoxes is a hilarious collection of cereals meticulously preserved and framed as if they were jewelry or ancient insects. We love the tongue-in-cheek descriptions for each “specimen box.” Sadly the prices are a joke as well.

A documentary by Shaul Schwarz about drug traffickers in Mexico and narcocorrido. Mexico’s version of gangster rap, narcocorrido are ballads that glorify the life of drug traffickers. Chilling, surreal and profoundly depressing.

Australia’s Triple J produces this series of cover versions of popular tunes remade by various musicians. It’s a great place to kill some time and discover new artists. Our favorite so far – Abbe May’s sultry cover of Ginuwine’s Pony.

While it’s not the first trailer we’ve seen for GTA V, this is the first one titled “The Official Trailer”, so that must mean something. It doesn’t really tell us anything, but only serves to whet our appetites slightly until the game drops on 9/17.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown’s upcoming expansion, XCOM: Enemy Within features an additional character class as well as new enemies, weapons, maps, facilities and customization options. Drops 11/12/13 for PC, PS3 & Xbox 360.

Rocksmith 2014 is for both newbie and skilled guitarists. It has a cleaner interface, a mode that loops parts of songs, on the fly difficulty adjustment and more. It’s also compatible with the songs and DLC from the first game.

We don’t recall the beach level in Super Mario Bros. but it looks like a welcome break for these guys as they jump off walls, over pipes and smashing into question mark blocks. Mario also needs to keep his hat on.
