The Beatles’ A Day in the Life was one of the most ambitious songs they ever recorded. Musician David Bennett explains how the track was created, then endeavored to replicate it as closely as possible by recording the individual parts and layering them together. That’s Chris Vince on vocals and Zal Jones on drums.

Musician Peter Bence has wowed us before with his masterful melding of piano playing and digital looping. Here, he shows how it’s possible to play a complicated piece of music that would normally require four hands, but his high-tech Steinway player piano takes over half of the keyboard once he gets going.

Musician Luna Lee turns in another great performance on her gayageum, letting her fingers fly across all 18 strings with a cover of the Bob Marley and the Wailers classic I Shot the Sheriff. Luna’s brings a whole new flavor to the track through her expressive improvisation skills.

DanCreator is back with another cardboard NERF gun. This time, he created a Fortnite-inspired sniper rifle that can shoot foam darts. He built it almost entirely from cardboard and hot glue, with a handful of dowel rods and some stiffly bent wire for its springs. It uses a pair of small motors to accelerate and fire each dart.

The Veteran Sherman Max is a powerful electric unicycle that can hit speeds up to 45 mph thanks to its 2800-watt motor. The appropriately-named Joseph Sherman has put nearly 10,000 miles on his already, and shows us just how quick this thing is with some reverse POV video footage. Now, watch him race a train. At the 2022 Mountbatten Festival of Music. The Bands of HM Royal Marines performed an epic medley of music by The Prodigy. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the short film, Nitro WarriorsSpaceCamperBike, Paul Greer’s Vanguard Pictures is back with another action-packed stop-motion car chase. This time, a truck carrying valuable cargo is pursued by a dragon car and a crew of malicious motorists. After the cops show up, a T-Rex gets in on the action.

The DragonForce track Through the Fire and Flames is known for its impossibly fast chord progressions and blister-inducing appearance in Guitar Hero III. The Morander Brothers turned in a flawless cover version of the song, performed on a pair of accordions. Their cover of Iron Maiden’s The Trooper is just as impressive.

The unique SpaceCamperBike bicycle has a pop-up tent and reclining bed, allowing riders to enjoy an off-the-ground shelter when they stop to rest. It’s also got a fold-out table which can be used for dining or as a desk. It’s based on the Riese&Müller Load75, an electric cargo bike with a powerful Bosch motor drive.

Controversial or not, AI technology like Midjourney is creating amazing digital art with the correct prompts. TheArtofAI used the generative image technology to imagine what Star Wars: A New Hope might have looked like as a 1980s anime, from young Luke sipping his blue milk to the Death Star exploding. Skydivers Fred Fugen, Vincent “Veush” Cotte, and Aurélien “Bras Noir” Chatard set a world record for the longest terrain-flying wingsuit line, zooming over Mont Blanc, France in formation for 7.5 km (4.66 mi.) They captured POV footage of the incredible flight using a GoPro MAX action camera. You can also watch the flight in VR.

We love watching giant R/C airplanes take to the skies. In this video from Ramy RC, we get to see the full build process. He created this 11.8-foot-long model of an Airbus A380-800 by 3D printing forms and lining them with carbon fiber and resin. He made the underlying structure from laser-cut wood and plastic. Maiden flight at 17:45.

Compressed air can pack an impressive amount of energy in a small space. Brick Technology shows off how it can power LEGO Technic engines, then moves on to a brick-built, remote-controlled semi that’s powered by compressed air in the tanks that it’s towing. The custom pneumatic parts came from Green Gecko Workshop.
