A short animated film by Ting Tey puts wild animals on a single narrow bridge, with no way to cross. As it progresses, it teaches a little tale about stubbornness, pride and (eventually) compromise.

If you’ve ever thought that Tom Waits sounds a little like Cookie Monster, what with that raspy baritone growl, you’d be 100% correct. Mashups don’t get much better than this.

There is nothing new or innovative in this animated short by Steve Cutts, from the first shot to the concept itself. But the bittersweet introspection that it induces in the viewer makes it special.
