We’re not sure why you’d want to, but if you ever needed a comprehensive yet compact list of humanity’s ills, check out this table by UK-based art studio Dorothy. It tabulates “85 of the worst elements of humankind.”

Chances are that nobody you know will spend $550 on a deck of playing cards, but that doesn’t make these cards any less cool. They’re individually silkscreened by Norman Ibarra onto the backs of discarded New York MetroCards.

Invented by Steve Hollinger, the Squito is a ball-shaped throwable camera. It takes 360º panoramic videos or pictures and has built-in image stitching and stabilization. The Darkball variant uses infrared and thermal imaging.

A one-seater helicopter designed for zipping over rush hour traffic. We’re not certain about the airworthiness of Héctor del Amo’s chopper design, but we’re all over the concept, and hope to see something like it produced at some point.

You may remember Denis Madri’s rockabilly interpretation of Batman characters. Well he has got more redesigns where that came from including these awesome Wild West styled illustrations for the Justice League.

Philippe Pasqua’s giant Tyrannosaurus Rex sculpture is contributing to the contemporary art that sits along the Seine River in Paris, France. The 12′ tall, 21′ long structure is composed of 350 molded chromed aluminum bones.

An unusual vehicle made from sustainable materials, designers Kenneth Cobonpue and Albrecht Birkner’s car would have a woven skin, replaceable after it biodegrades. Not the most practical concept, but still visually striking.

Breaths from the band members of Travis bring a projected animation to life in this entirely appropriate video for Moving, the second single off of their upcoming album Where You Stand. The album drops 8/19/13.

We’ve seen what Super Mario Bros. is like in 3D, but what if the game’s graphics were replaced by high definition illustrations? That’s exactly what João Victor G. Costa did. The awesome end result looks a bit like Braid.
