Devin L. Smith aka End of Line Designs makes beautiful video game controller case mods. His latest work is a DualShock 4 based on Fallout’s Pip-Boy. The hinged screen over the touch pad and the tiny gauge beside it both light up.

Designed by a group of students from ETH Zurich and ZHdK, the Voliro is a hexacopter that has tiltable rotors, allowing it to fly parallel to walls, hover diagonally and even flip in place. The students also plan to give the Voliro an omnidirectional wheel for ground movement.

This kit lets you build a crude pinball machine using just about anything as obstacles. It includes mechanical flippers, as well as copper contacts which can be used to register scoring when connected to an off-the-shelf microcontroller, using a free smartphone app.
