The Typewriter Sculptor

This is what I was working on in the previous photo by @chirodeepchaudhuri for @godrej.archives. It's about 1.5m in diameter. Godrej has just today released its book "With Great Truth & Regard", a book about the history of the typewriter in India. I spent 6 months in Mumbai making this Mandala pictured here, several others, a small crane, and a 4m tall kinetic lotus, all made from some of the last typewriters to roll off the Godrej assembly line. Congratulations to the archives staff, namely @vrunda.pathare, for the years of hard work and dedication to bringing so many people together in the making of this book. Wish I could be there to see all my friends!
