Awesome Y-3

Time to hit up your favorite Japan shopping proxy. adidas’ luxury brand Y-3 teamed up with the Japan Football Association to create a collection based on the theme of the 2024 national team’s uniforms: fire. The jerseys are definitely the highlight of the bunch, with large, fiery graphics printed all over the retro shirt and shorts.

The first shoe from Y-3’s Spring Summer 2018 collection. The Suberou is a mid-cut slip on that is as comfortable as it looks. It has a neoprene upper with a leather toe cap and heel lining, a Poron performance sockliner and an EVA foam midsole. Available in black, red or blue.

One of the most awaited drops from Y-3’s 2017 fall/winter collection. This premium take on Adidas’ minimal and mad comfy casual running shoe has a mesh upper, a TPU cage and heel counter, a leather tongue and that rare black Boost midsole.

Y-3’s new running shoes is a one piece sock upper sitting on a Boost sole and wrapped with a wicked hiking boot lacing that’s secured with d-rings at the heel. It’s in women’s sizes, but whatever. Dope shoes are dope shoes. Available in black, gray and blue.

The highlight of Y-3’s 2016 Sport collection. The Sport Approach running shoes have Adidas’ extremely light and comfy Boost midsole, a flexible softshell upper with TPU overlays and a knit sock. It can be worn with or without the laces.

The influential silhouette from Yohiji Yamamoto’s Adidas line remains fire even with the torrent of stylish runners and trainers, but obviously its outrageous price keeps it rare. This new all-white colorway keeps it fresh. We can hear it calling to us. Eating’s overrated anyway!
