Awesome The White Lotus

The third season of Mike White’s dark comedy takes us to a new vacation destination, Thailand. Expect more mayhem as couples and friends reveal more twisted secrets at an otherwise dreamy locale. The ensemble includes Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, and Parker Posey, but sadly, no Jennifer Coolidge. Premieres 2.16.25 on Max.

In this universe, the resort is operated by a black and latino staff, and they’re not taking any crap from the whiny, entitled guests. We had to watch it twice before we realized that guest host Aubrey Plaza was even in the sketch.

Artist Jamie Umpherson rings in the holidays with a version of The White Lotus season two opening credits but with characters from Home Alone. He used the AI imaging software RunwayML to generate character portraits and scenes, then blended them into moving compositions. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!
