Turn up your speakers to 11 and scream at the top of your lungs to this re-upload of Leo Moracchioli’s excellent 2016 metal cover version of The Cranberries’ classic Zombie. It’s loud, intense, and apropos of the blood-boiling things going on in the world at the moment.
(Flashing Images) Last Halloween, the Melodicka Bros. took The Cranberries’ 1994 track Zombie and reimagined it as a gloomy, synth-heavy track that could have easily have been a track on the Depeche Mode album Music for the Masses.
Cellist Helen Newby has posted a handful of great multi-track performances on her YouTube channel, and our favorite so far has to be this enveloping cover of one of the best songs ever, The Cranberries’ soul-stirring track Linger. It’s a beautiful arrangement, and a loving tribute to the late Dolores O’Riordan.
