With Barbie and Oppenheimer hitting theaters on the same release day, the unlikely duo has become the meme power couple of summer 2023. Artist Steven Richter went one step further and imagined the two movies as one in his hilariously warped, very short film. The best part is watching how he made it.

Artist Steven Richter has made some very impressive sculptures over the years. He did something different for this piece by replicating Drew Struzan’s poster art for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a three-dimensional sculpture. After casting the faces of the movie’s stars, he painstakingly replicated the painted light and shadow of the original image.

If we had to pick our favorite character from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, it would have to be Rocket Racoon. So we loved watching this video from artist Steven Richter building a picture-perfect sculpture of the furry little badass. Every detail is there, from his sad brown eyes to his boop-able nose.

Artist Steven Richter has wowed us with his sculptures before. This time he took on a different kind of challenge – replicating the rocket car from the end of Toy Story. He started by modifying existing toys, sculpting a new head for Woody, and building a model rocket. He then assembled it all into this crazy creation.

Sculptor Steven Richter set himself the challenge of creating a mechanical claw machine based on Doc Ock’s tentacles from Spider-Man 2 and No Way Home. The build features cast resin parts and a cable-driven mechanism that lets an operator move the claw and grip objects with it. Plush Spidey doesn’t stand a chance.

Sculptor Steven Richter pays tribute to the late Stan Lee by creating a life-sized bust of the legendary creator of comic books and superheroes. The finished piece is so realistic, we’re thinking it could make a cameo in a Marvel flick.
