The LEGO Seinfeld set is real, and it’s spectacular. Based on a concept by LEGO fan Brent Waller, the 1326-piece kit lets you replicate Jerry’s apartment, and includes minifigs of Jerry, George, Elaine, Kramer, and Newman for acting out your favorite scenes from the classic sitcom. We never thought that sitcoms needed laugh tracks, but apparently, some TV executives think audiences need to be told when to laugh. In this video from the 1980s, we get a look at a unique piece of equipment that used 10 tape players to add various kinds of laughter, with audio engineer Carroll Pratt at the controls.

We always thought Star Trek: The Next Generation had a good sense of humor, but TrainDozer thought one character stood out for his comedic chops. So he got to editing together footage from the series and blooper reels and added a laugh track. The result is a surprisingly solid sitcom.

So no one told you life was gonna be this way. Your job’s a joke, you’re broke… With the announcement that the NBC comedy Friends is leaving Netflix, musician Chase Holfelder decided to pay tribute to the series with a very special sad version I’ll Be There for You.
