Awesome Simon And Garfunkel

DJ Cummerbund is at it again, making musical remixes that should make no sense yet work brilliantly. This time, he took Paul Simon’s Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard and replaced Julio with Coolio. Funny enough, Simon’s original music video starts with a rap by Big Daddy Kane and Biz Markie.

Luca Stricagnoli performs an emotive cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence using a custom guitar add-on called a Reverse Slide Neck. The upgrade allows Luca to play an acoustic guitar and a slide guitar with a single instrument. His reverse slide cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps is also amazing.

The last time we got a new Portal game was all the way back in 2011, but we still keep hoping that Valve will give us Portal 3 someday. For now, this Portal-inspired machinima parody of Simon and Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence from Harry101UK and lyricist Greg Holgate will have to suffice.
