Artist LeopARTnik creates hilarious short animations by drawing arms on birds. This compilation video shows some of his best doodles from 2023, including a bird putting a guitar smackdown on a kitten, a chicken on tiny skis, and a parrot that washes windows. The game QWOP challenged players to make a 2-dimensional figure walk using their keyboard to control its limbs. The 3D platformer Baby Steps takes this idea to the next level, asking gamers to move a character through a variety of challenging environments by controlling only his feet. Coming to PC and PS5 in 2024.

Inspired by the idea that Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down, mad inventor Colin Furze decided he wanted to become a Weeble himself. So he got to work on a semi-circular concrete base and a mounting plate that allows him to roll around his workshop without faceplanting.

When you think about it, music is just an assemblage of brief noises sequenced together. So even though musician Daniel Thrasher calls this composition “nonsense,” it’s really not that much sillier than a a Duran Duran of a Hanson song when it comes down to it.
