Awesome Shelters

If you’re going to sleep outdoors, you want a good shelter to protect you from the elements and critters. Old School Bushcraft shows how he made a treehouse using branches, mud, and moss. The single-person shelter hangs from a tree to keep it off of the ground and looks like a giant log. We enjoyed seeing how he made its cylindrical structure by bending tree limbs.

We’ve seen some pretty clever use of space in tiny houses, but never anything like this. Inventor Handy Geng challenged himself to build a fully functional steel safe house with just 30 sq. ft. (2.8 sq. meters) of space. It has a living room, computer desk, bed, kitchen, and even a bathroom, all way too close for comfort.
