Awesome Sheep

After a long and arduous climb, a man finally reaches his goal – the top of the mountain. But one thing stands in his way of stepping onto the summit – a big, fluffy sheep. The latest animated short film from Birdbox Studio is cute, cuddly, charming, and has a clever punchline.

If you’ve never seen sheep being herded by sheepdogs, it’s a pretty impressive sight. A few years back, New Zealand-based photographer Tim Whittaker piloted his drone over a farm to observe thousands of sheep as they moved in concert between their paddocks.

The term “sheep” is often used to refer to those who blindly follow others. As this aerial footage of sheep and cows moving in unison in New Zealand shows, flock mentality is truly the order of business in the farm animal kingdom.

A shepherd and a group of helpers take an unconventional route, as they lead a huge herd of sheep down a city street in Poland, resulting in some really baaaad traffic. They should really be lambasted for this. Okay, we’ll stop.
