Wouldn’t it be cool if you could walk on water? With a lot of trial and error, JLaservideo designed and fabricated a special pair of shoes that let him stroll above the surface. They use powerful electric motors and propellers to push the wearer up out of the water. Maintaining balance is clearly the trickiest part.

Nike took the incredibly light and comfortable patterned outsole from the stellar React Element line and gave it waterproof elements to create the React Runner. The mid-top shoe has a waterproof TPE ripstop upper and water-resistant taping. Available in three colors.

adidas‘ ultra popular Ultraboost shoe has seen dozens of iterations, but the Ultraboost DNA LTD has a neat and somewhat practical twist. Its upper is partially woven with reflective yarn, and its three-stripe cage is reflective as well.

Mizuno’s 20th iteration of its steadfast running shoe offers even better heel cushioning and smoother transitioning, a lightweight mesh construction, a more responsive and durable midsole, and looks especially awesome in platinum. Available for men and women.
