Awesome Quadrotors

The last time we checked in on the Jetson ONE quadrotor, it was buzzing through a forest. The single-seat eVTOL aircraft has continued to improve over the years, and it looks even more impressive as it flies over the hills of Tuscany in Italy. The company is closer than ever to production, with initial shipments scheduled for later in 2024 into 2025.

The Jetson ONE is a single-seat flying machine that works like a giant quadrotor drone. Previously, we got a look at a test flight in an open field, now let’s go for a more scenic flight along a forest trail. It’s not as quick as the speeder bikes in Return of the Jedi, but it’s the closest you can get in real life.

Eddie Codel mounted a GoPro HD Hero3 and an Arris CM2000 gimbal on his DJI Phantom Quadcopter to take videos of this year’s Burning Man festival. The background music is by Fingers in the Noise. We’d love a nighttime version now.
