Awesome Pharrell

We are so pleased to share Weird Al’s parody of Pharrell’s Happy from Nerdist, featuring Aisha Tyler, Kristen Schaal and Jack Black, among others. It kicks off his 8 videos in 8 days project. We have missed you, Al. (Thanks Chris!)

We’ve already heard a version of Pharrell Williams’ mega-hit turned sad – now here’s another version. By yanking the music from the video, House of Halo made the Pharrell and his cast of characters look downright loony.

Musician/designer/video director Yoann “Woodkid” Lemoine created this brilliantly downbeat remix of Pharrell’s upbeat pop hit Happy, which transforms the track into an emotional ballad. Strings are so sad!

The robots returned the favor and contributed to this unsurprising yet catchy funk track for Pharrell Williams’ upcoming album G I R L. You can also stream the entire album on iTunes Radio (link opens iTunes). Awesome remix here.

The official music video for Daft Punk’s Lose Yourself to Dance has finally dropped, and while we’ve already heard the song 100 times before, we still can’t get enough of Pharrell’s smooth vocals, Nile Rodgers’ funktastic rhythms.
