Awesome Meow Wolf

Some things defy description, like these awesome slippers based on an indescribable art installation of the surreal “Glitzy Snurtle” street sweeper at Meow Wolf’s indescribably cool Convergence Station in Denver. Let it suffice to say that Snurtle Slippers keep your feet cozy and dust your floors as you shuffle around your domestic multiverse.

It took 56 people four years to build Gremlin Symphony inside Convergence Station, Denver. The room is an art installation made from trash sculpted around instruments that play themselves using robotics or can be played by a human. Reggie Watts got together with co-creator Meason Wiley to give it a test run.

Could you use a vacation? Perhaps a trip to Convergence Station is in order. But when we say “a trip” we mean, like on acid. Andreas Nilsson’s short starts out as a retro travel promo but quickly descends into madness as its true destination is revealed. All aboard!

This long, scarf-like tube has twin openings in which to place two heads for lo-fi chitchat and giggles. But we’d rather believe the wonderful weirdos at Meow Wolf who claim it’s a “communication device which connects one experience to another using the most sophisticated facial recognition technology.”
