Awesome Maytree

The A capella group Maytree is really good at making mouth sounds. In this clip, they replicate the music and sound effects from Nintendo’s classic 8-bit arcade game, Donkey Kong. Though like many of us, they couldn’t make it past Level 1.

Instruments? Where we’re going, we don’t need instruments! The members of the Korean a cappella group MayTree hit 88 MPH with with another great performance, taking on the most recognizable part of Alan Silvestri’s main theme from Back to the Future.

Thanks to its prominent placement in the storyline of Stranger Things 4, the Kate Bush song Running up That Hill (A Deal with God) is enjoying a major comeback. Korean group Maytree unleashed their vocal talents with this a cappella version that had us feeling those emotions from the Dear Billy episode all over again.

The members of Korean a cappella act MayTree turn in a spot-on vocal version of the original theme song from Mortal Kombat, complete with the whole “Test Your Might” part and the character intros. Get out your gamepads and start mashing those buttons!

Nintendo fanboys and fangirls will get a kick out of this medley of console startup music performed by Korean a cappella group MayTree. Nintendo consoles always have had great music, but the GameCube theme is still our favorite.

Korean musical group MayTree continues to crank out perfect A Cappella versions of TV and movie soundtracks. Their latest is a wonderfully-layered version of Danny Elfman’s opening and closing themes from The Simpsons. We challenge them to do the Futurama theme next.

The members of Korea’s MayTree continue to wow us with their ability to produce richly-layered music using only their voices. Listen as they take on John Williams’ opening theme to Star Wars, conjuring up images of the opening scroll and that Imperial Star Destroyer chasing down Princess Leia in the Tantive IV.
