How Ridiculous continues their quest to destroy as much stuff as possible with another one of their competition videos. This time, the guys challenged each other to see how hard they could throw objects at a line of light bulbs to see how many they could take out with a single throw.
Awesome Light Bulbs
Illustrating just how interdependent the world has become, artist Neil Mendoza built The Fragility of Complexity, a motorized, kinetic art installation composed of a row of hammers that rotate perilously close to a series of moving light bulbs. Neil says only a single light bulb was broken during its construction.
This truly unique LED bulb will definitely be a conversation piece in your room, and you won’t want to hide it behind a shade. It uses LEDs and a colorful prismatic mirror effect to make it look like there’s a burst of fireworks inside of its glass. It’s not bright, but works great as an accent or nightlight.
Feit Electric’s unique smart light bulb can produce the warm amber glow of an old-fashioned Edison-style filament lamp, or one of millions of colors from its RGB LED strips. Works in any standard E26 base, and can be controlled remotely via Alexa, Google Assistant, or the Feit Electric app.
We love how they’ve figured out how to make LED light bulbs that look like vintage filament bulbs. But this one has another trick: it doesn’t need to be screwed into a socket at all. Suck UK designed this glass and metal bulb to run wirelessly. Its rechargeable battery provides about four hours of light per charge.
