Awesome Hellboy

With the upcoming release of the Hellboy movie reboot, Variant Comics thought it fit to introduce casual comic fans to Mike Mignola’s famed creation. Learn about the half-man, half-demon’s origin, powers, adventures and friends in this video.

(PG_13: Language, Gore) The red band trailer for the Hellboy reboot wows with glimpses of its fantastic monsters and other visual effects, while still leaning on the movie’s comedic side. We hope the rest of it has better jokes. The film premieres 4/12/19.

We’re not too sure about rebooting one of our favorites, but the trailer for the 2019 version looks promising, with David Harbour taking over for Ron Perlman, along with Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, and Daniel Dae Kim. Also, director Neil Marshall has a solid resume.

For his latest build, LoreCraft created an amazing, life-size bust of one of our favorite characters of all time, the red-faced, smart-mouthed, and generally badass Hellboy, complete with his iconic devil’s horn stumps and a smoking cigar.
