Awesome Gummy Bears

Plants need to eat too. In this short time-lapse clip from Interesting as FCK we see what happens when a carnivorous king sundew plant gets its sticky tentacles on a Haribo gummy bear. As you can see in this longer video, it takes more than 30 hours for the plant to dissolve and digest the sugary treat after feasting on a main course of flies.

NileRed enjoys destroying things with chemistry. In this short video he shows what happens to a gummy bear when its sugar interacts with potassium chlorate, causing the gates of hell to open and swallowing up the innocent bear. If that wasn’t horrific enough for you, some masochist enhanced the video with blood-curdling sound effects.
