Awesome Gimbal

While they’re pretty cheap and easy to come by these days, maker of stuff The Q decided to see if he could build himself a stabilizing rig for a camera for the heck of it. His oversized gimbal uses PVC pipe for its structure, and the platter from a hard drive as its gyro wheel.

The Atom is a 3-axis gimbal for smartphones that folds down to nearly half its size when not in use. It also has a button for switching between landscape and portrait modes, a programmable slide button, 360º rotation, and lets you charge your phone while it’s docked.
