Awesome Frankenstein

The Universal Monsters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles combine their mutant powers for an epic mashup. The first figure in NECA’s line-up melds Raphael with Frankenstein’s Monster. The 7″ figure gives Raph a stitched-on head, neck bolts, an ill-fitting suit, and comes with three pairs of hands and two lightning bolt sai.

Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy attempt to do for Mary Shelley’s monster tale what Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law did for Sherlock Holmes, offering an action and adventure-packed take on a classic 19th century franchise.

The story of Frankenstein’s monster gets an action-packed modern update in this story that takes place some 200 years after his creation. Based on the Darkstorm Studios graphic novel by Kevin Grevioux.

Mary Shelley’s iconic monster finds his way onto this artful and emotive t-shirt from UK designers The Affair, captioned with the classic line “You are my creator, but I am your master.”

In celebration of 80 years of Frankenstein’s monster, artists created 80 of their own unique takes on the iconic creature. On exhibit through Nov. 15 at City Arts Factory in Orlando, FL.
