BFFs Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman hit the road for their fourth Long Way docu-series — this time traveling on motorcycles from Ewan’s home in Scotland to Charley’s in England. They take the scenic route, naturally, visiting 17 European countries on cranky old bikes that break down and crash up. Debuts 5.7.25 on Apple TV+.

The Citroën Ami Buggy is what Carwow calls “the world’s smallest SUV.”  While we question the “sport” and “utility,” it’s definitely a vehicle. This sub-sub-compact car has open sides, plastic windows, and a sunroof held in place with a zipper and Velcro. With an 8 hp motor, it tops out at 28 mph. Mat Watson spent some time with this tiny EV, so you don’t have to.

In 2016, Paweł Zadrożniak turned his Floppotron electromechanical orchestra loose on Europe’s 1986 hit The Final Countdown. He’s revisited the tune with his much more powerful Floppotron 3.0, a system that’s powerful enough to load all the diskettes from Microsoft Office 97 Standard simultaneously with plenty of room to spare.

Jaan Roose is one of the world’s best slackliners. On August 8, 2022, he showed off his incredible balance – and balls of steel – by slacklining between two buildings and across Rotterdam’s river Mass. The 2cm (.78″) wide slackline measured nearly 500 feet long, with a 24% grade at its steepest angle.

Ofer Rozenman took a trip across eastern Europe with his wife and friends, and along the way he managed to snap 8,000+ beautifully composed photos to create this far above average time-lapse of their journey. The track is Big Jet Plane.
