Awesome Doodles

Artist Stefano Padoan builds electromechanical machines to draw his “Scribl Art.” Unlike a conventional plotter, he programmed his machines to doodle portraits in circles, zig-zags, and squiggles – all from a single line. By varying the size and density of the lines, they create the illusion of light and shadow.
