Awesome Big Band

Nyan Cat was one of the biggest memes to hit YouTube in its early days. The animation was known for its pixel art kitty, endless rainbows, and an infectious soundtrack. The Nate Sparks Big Band took that tune and turned it into an incredible 7-minute jazz jam.

Scary Pockets teamed up with the Frankfurt Radio Big Band for a supremely funky arrangement of the Daft Punk classic Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, complete with one of the maddest talkbox solos ever. The track sounds so awesome with all of that brass instrumentation.

The 8-Bit Big Band takes on a track from the 16-bit era, with an appropriately New Jack Swing interpretation of the music from Sonic the Hedgehog’s notoriously tricky Spring Yard Zone level. The only thing it’s missing are the sounds of the bouncy bumpers and gold rings being collected.

The 8-Bit Big Band offers up another phenomenal cover of a classic video game tune. This time, they take on block-stacking fun of Tetris, adding a bit of swing and a cinematic flair to the Soviet-era sounds of the theme song.
