Undone teamed up with artist Stephen Bliss to create two limited-edition Monopoly-themed watches. Each features Rich Uncle Pennybags spreading financial cheer with his moneyguns, and banknote-inspired UV details. The Benjamin features an off-white face and silver case, while The Godfather is appropriately black and gold.
Motion artist Thomas Blanchard’s colorful short film envisions an entire universe that lives inside of our eyes. What makes the vibrant visuals even more amazing is that they were entirely created with paint, ink, oil, and soap, without reliance on CGI or digital effects.
This amazing short film took animator Gooseworx two years to create, and the payoff was worth it. Follow along with a video game character named Runmo on his journey to discover the meaning of life (or in his case, lives). It’s a weird, wild, and wonderfully inventive look at what it might be like to live in a platform game.
Expressive E’s keyboard gives musicians an incredible amount of expressiveness, with each key capturing subtle movements that influence pitch, loudness, and many other attributes. It works in concert with a robust sound engine by Haken Audio to produce amazingly warm and enveloping sounds. It also works as a MIDI controller.
After offering up a size shootout between Star Wars spacecraft, MetaBallStudios decided to do the same with some real world rockets and spaceships, from the diminutive 42 foot Black Arrow to the ginormous Saturn V, which was over 360 feet tall. They should have included some model rockets for comparison.
While we’re tempted to complain when dealing with the inconveniences of air travel, the fact is, getting around used to be so much worse. Bright Side looks back at the early days of commercial flight, and some of its many downsides, from zero climate control, to constant refueling stops, to far more turbulent flying.

The Flaming Lips’ ringleader Wayne Coyne loves Christmas, though it’s hard to tell from this surreal “Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth” video, an homage (sorta) to the famous David Bowie/Bing Crosby duet. The track was recorded live at Coyne’s Pink Floor Studios in Oklahoma City, and arrives as a single 11/29/19.
Thanks to the arcane copyright policing on YouTube, remixers like Jonny Wilson of Eclectic Method have found it harder to post content. His solution, keep the sound snippets so short that nobody can recognize them. His mashup of Red Hot Chili Peppers tracks maintains all of their texture, but none of their melodies.
TokyoFlash’s futuristic looking timepiece features real carbon fiber components, and a sculpted display that looks like turbine fan blades. Time is indicated via animated LED tubes, which operate in two different display modes. Available with red, blue, or green LEDs.
Maker James Bruton is a big fan of 3D printing. In this video, he uses his Lulzbot HS+1.2 heavy duty print head to output carbon fiber reinforced plastic filament to create a skateboard with a unique structure. He then takes it for a spin to see just how strong it is.
(PG-13: Language) This darkly humorous cartoon follows the story of a group of imps living in hell, who start up a business to assassinate the living if the price is right. From the character design, to the script, to the voice work, it’s brilliantly executed from start to finish. From Vivienne Medrano, creator of Hazbin Hotel.
