Veritasium takes us on a tour of Longyearbyen, Svalbard. It’s the northernmost town on Earth, a mere 800mi from the North Pole. Originally a whaling port, Longyearbyen flourished as a coal mining town, but is now a tourist and research destination and potential trading hub.
