Awesome Zagato

Aston teamed up with Zagato to create the ultimate expression of its Vanquish sports coupe. The concept has bespoke carbon fiber body panels, a 600 hp V12 under the bonnet, a retractable spoiler, cool bladed taillights, and premium interior befitting a true grand tourer.

The snarling successor to the Maserati 450S Il Mostro, it has a carbon fiber monocoque, a 4.2L Maserati V8 central front-mounted engine and a six-speed semiautomatic gearbox. Only five were made, and all have been sold.

Shown off at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Concours d’Elegance, Zagato made the Aston Martin Virage Shooting Brake for a commission. The coachbuilder was took inspiration from the Vantage and Virage cars of the 80s. Video here.

For Aston Martin’s 100th birthday, Zagato created these two droolworthy rides. The DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial and DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial, which dramatically overhaul Aston’s default styling with James Bond style.
