One of the most important parts of any workshop is having some way to store and organize tools. Builder Ben Tardif decided he wanted something that offered flexibility, so he built a wall storage system that uses French cleats for hanging and arranging custom bins and shelves that hold his most frequently used tools.

Give your over-the-ear headphones a proper place to rest when you’re not wearing them. This handmade stand from AmbiColoredLight features a head-shaped sandalwood-veneered base. At its center is a light-up acrylic porthole that displays a laser-etched waveform graphic that can change colors to suit your mood.

Artist Greg Frehr creates these playful dining tables that replace ordinary chairs with swings. SwingTables have an outdoor-safe powder-coated steel frame, a wooden tabletop, and wooden swings to sit on. They come in 2-seat, 4-seat, 6-seat, and 8-seat variants and disassemble into sections for shipping. Cushioned seats are available.

These unique mugs are handmade from African Jacaranda wood. They’re happy to hold your coffee, tea, or even wine. They hold about 8 oz. and come in either light or dark burned finishes. Hand wash only and apply coconut or olive oil on occasion to protect their finish. Proceeds help support artists in developing countries.

The curvy, oversized tower design of Sony’s PlayStation 5 has definitely been divisive among gamers. After building himself an amazing brass case for a PS5, DIY Perks decided to build something a little more subdued, re-wrapping the powerful gaming system inside of a handsome walnut wood and carbon fiber enclosure.

Woodworker Jonathan Katz-Moses shows off a really cool piece of furniture he built that seems to defy logic and gravity. Its structure was tricky to engineer and build, but the result is something we’d be thrilled to have in our living room.

Builder Laura Kampf got her hands on an old neon letter and decided to make it the centerpiece of a custom-built bookcase. She used a technique called kerf bending to give the unit curved corners and routed several holes into its sides for a light and airy look. We’re impressed that this is her first foray into kerf bending.

To find inner peace, it can be helpful to wander through a labyrinth. But if you don’t have access to a life-size maze, grab one of iSpiritual’s mini labyrinths. Each one is carved from bamboo or walnut wood, and comes with a matching stylus to wind through its corridors. They come in 3.5″, 4″, and 7″ versions.

We had a great time behind the wheel of the new Land Rover Defender. It’s a rugged, capable, and handsome ride that’s surprisingly smooth. Woodworking Art saw something in the Defender 110 X that he liked too, and decided to make it a subject for his masterful wood carving skills.

Here’s another nifty wood model kit from Nashville artist 1Man1Garage. This laser-cut wood kit comes with everything you need to build a 14″ long zeppelin model, inspired by a 1929 model flown by England’s Royal Air Force.

While taking a road trip across America, maker Xyla Foxlin was inspired to collect a piece of wood that was grown and milled in each state she visited. While she didn’t manage to drive through every state, her fans helped her out so she could complete this beautiful and unique piece of wall art.

Made by Japanese toy company Kiko+ and gg, this beechwood burger and fries are designed for kids, but we’d be happy to play with our food too. The cheeseburger clacks like a castanet, while the fries make the sounds of maracas. We want one of their telephones for our desk too.

It’s important to keep your wrists and arms in a good position when typing. This ergonomic wrist rest from Wood Design by Elliot uses a laser-cut living hinge to form its curved and semi-flexible body. It sits on rubber feet to prevent slippage and can be ordered in a variety of keyboard widths.

Generic Woodworking has built some pretty amazing mechanical wooden models, including a drill-powered wooden car, complete with a working engine, transmission, and steering. He recently upgraded the car with a functional odometer, which can track the distance that its wheels have traveled. See it in action at 10:55.

Vinyl records are all the rage thanks to their warm, analog sounds. But if you’re going to go retro, why not go vintage? ROKR’s 424-piece kit gives you everything you need to build your own hand-cranked gramophone. A centrifugal governor helps maintain the record’s speed, and it can play 33s, 45s, and 78s.

This unique laptop/messenger bag is handmade by Canadian woodworker Bom Design. It’s made from Mozambique wood veneer, which has been molded into a sleek and modern shape and attached to a sturdy leather carrying strap. Its removable felt interior pouch offers protection and holds up to a 15″ laptop.

After building a larger-than-life utility knife and a huge screwdriver, Jackman Works is adding another tool to his giant-sized collection. This time he made an Estwing hammer fit for Paul Bunyan, carving the 8-foot-long, 90 pound monster out of reclaimed southern yellow pine. We’re gonna need a bigger workbench.

Modern firearms are usually made from metal and maybe a little bit of plastic. While ND Woodworking Art’s handmade wooden machine gun can’t fire its wooden bullets, it’s still an impressive and detailed piece of art. Just don’t try looking through the scope.

Maker The Q shows off one of his more unusual constructions – a mouse-sized wooden staircase that appears to be built into a wall. We’re not sure where the secret door leads to, but we want him to build the rest of the house to go with it now.
