Awesome Wolverine

The most awesome scene-stealer in Marvel Studio’s Deadpool & Wolverine movie has a seriously messed up face and slobbers something awful. No, it’s not Ryan Reynolds, and certainly not Hugh Jackman. It’s a canine co-star named Peggy who won Britain’s Ugliest Dog Competition. And she has her own Instagram account: @dogpool.

Get a closer look at Hugh Jackman in Wolverine’s classic blue and yellow costume with Hot Toys’ new 1/6th scale action figure, based on the character’s appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine. The standard version comes with three swappable lower faces and three pairs of hands, while the Deluxe version adds extra suit pieces and an incredibly lifelike unmasked head.

(PG-13: Language) Deadpool needs a helping hand, and the only person who might be able to save the day is Logan aka Wolverine. But before they can partner up, they need to hug it out the only way they know how – with their katanas and adamantium claws drawn.

Wade Wilson is trying to live a normal life once again. But it’s hard for any superhero to hang up their costume. Eventually, Wade finds himself pulled into not only a quest to save the multiverse, but to save the Marvel Cinematic Universe from itself. Then Logan shows up with his adamantium claws. As we’ve seen before, James Raiz aka TheBoxOfficeArtist loves to draw comic book heroes. In this time-lapse, he illustrates 100 different variants of the anger and adamantium-filled X-Man, from his comic book tiger stripe, to his look in the X-Men movies, to the rarely seen Hulkverine, and even Old Man Logan.

Wolverine joins Bandai’s Manga Realization Marvel-inspired samurai action figures. The toy stands about 7.1″ tall, and is partially made of flexible materials for varied posing options. It comes with two pairs of hands and four sets of ridiculously long claws.

Kotobukiya’s Weapon X Fine Art Statue is an impressive sixth-scale statue depicting Wolverine’s escape from Department K in Canada, where his bones were injected with adamantium and his memories erased. The statue comes with an extra unmasked head.

Sculpted by Paul Harding for Gentle Giant, each of the Wolverine Collector’s Gallery statues commemorates the various iconic looks of the famous X-Men member. There’s Wolverine ’74, Wolverine ’80, Wolverine ’92 and Wolverine ’08 aka “Old Man Logan.”

The best there is at what he does. Kaiyodo’s 12th scale (6.1″ tall) Amazing Yamaguchi Wolverine action figure is based on the most badass X-Man’s ’90s incarnation. It comes with three heads, seven hands, two sets of claws and of course a cigar.

Is there anything The Q can’t make? The mysterious YouTube builder shows us how to make a set of nasty claws like Wolverine’s – without using any adamantium. These ones are made from popsicle sticks, toothpicks, rubber bands, paper, and a bit of Krazy Glue.

(SPOILERS) “Do you hear the Wolverine? Finally finished with the fight. All of his stabbing of the people who do not know wrong from right.” How It Should Have Ended suggests that Hugh Jackman’s last portrayal of Wolverine should have ended as Les Miserables.
