This unique wristwatch is a nod to the symbols used on fire exit signs. Instead of a conventional date display, its inner wheel features a different action graphic for each day of the week. You’ll also find arrow markers and a running man rotating disc on its caseback. Its stainless steel case is complemented by a strap made using a decommissioned fire hose.

UK watchmaker William Wood pays tribute to the Massey Shaw, a British fireboat that rescued 600 soldiers stranded on the beach at Dunkirk. The bronze 42mm watch features a face inspired by the boat’s engine order telegraph. Its outer rim is based on the red pipes in the engine room. You’ll find a tiny piece of the actual ship’s engine inside its back.
