Fans of classic whiskies from the American South take note: southern Australia nabbed a gold medal at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition for Starward Two-Fold Double Grain Whisky, the first widely available Aussie whisky brand in the US. The easy-drinking spirit is known for its unique maturation style in red wine casks.

Johnnie Walker’s limited edition Scotch whisky was inspired by Game of Thrones’ icy zombies. The White Walker “has notes of caramelized sugar and vanilla, fresh red berries with a touch of orchard fruit and features single malts from Cardhu and Clynelish.” Best served chilled.
Inspired by characters in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Statesman is a small batch offering blended from hand-selected casks of Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky aged in secret hot spots in the warehouse. Minimally filtered with loads of bold character.
While searching at Dickel’s Tennessee distillery for barrels of 9-year-old whisky, distiller Allisa Henley stumbled across a cache of barrels filled with this nectar of the gods. It’s rich, sweet, with tons of vanilla and oak. For now, you’ll need to visit Cascade Hollow if you want one.
