Want to know how long it will take to binge watch an entire series? BingeClock has data for over 8,000 TV shows to help figure out how much time you need. They also offer a similar capability for planning movie marathons. It ain’t the prettiest website, but it’s really useful.

Tim Smith of ustwo Auto and his friends are making a slick online museum for his Micro Machines collection. He currently has 1,172 Micro Machines cars, but so far he’s uploaded pictures and details of “only” 107 of them. He’s also looking for donors and sellers.

It’s easy to estimate how many boxers you are. But have you ever wondered how many animals you are by weight? That’s exactly what this simple website does. It’s surprisingly fun, though it’s sad knowing that it only takes four poodles to hold us down.

It’s far from perfect, but Google’s experimental web app has a pretty nifty trick up its sleeve – it can transform rough doodles into neat line art by using machine-learning algorithms to recognize shapes and replace them with professionally drawn illustrations.

WhoSampled turned its massive database into a trivia machine that attempts to connect musicians based on samples, remixes, covers and credits. It’s not all knowing, but it did connect Mozart to Flight of the Conchords in two steps, so it’s pretty close.

Chemistry teacher Andy Brunning’s website is packed with amazing scientific infographics which educate and entertain. The charts explain everything from the composition of spirits, foods, and products, to the origins of element names. Be sure to check out Andy’s book too!

Like creepy creatures or giant robots? Visit Monsters & Machines. This website offers a database of movie and video game monsters and mechanical marvels, scored by their degree of awesomeness. It’s by no means comprehensive, but it’s still fun to explore.

Radiooooo (that’s five Os) is a musical time machine. Pick a country and a decade and it will play a pop song from that setting. You can buy the songs (if there’s a link online), upload a song and if you register, bookmark songs. Yes, Antarctica has “songs.”

If It Were My Home is a website that compares the living conditions of two countries based on data from the CIA, the WHO and the UN. It’s far from perfect – it reduces citizens into statistical averages and its definition of good healthcare is flawed, but it’s still educational.

The Unofficial Netflix Online Global Search (uNoGS) lets you look up the availability of shows and movies in Netflix’s different regions. You can limit its scope to certain regions and search by genre, IMDB rating and more.

YARN is a new website that offers the ability to search movie, TV, and music video clips based on lyrics, words, or quotes. It’s great fun to find classic scenes, and to discover ones you never saw. The search by emoji feature is weird, but surprisingly cool.

A one-trick pony website that only plays music videos from 20 years ago. Whether or not you believe that that’s nostalgia’s magic number, it’s free, it’s fun and it’s more MTV than MTV. Remember MTV?

A free website that helps you discover movies. You can narrow your search by year, genre, rating (Rotten Tomatoes, IMDB, Metacritic) and availability (Netflix, iTunes, Amazon). Sign up to save watchlists and seen movies.

The makers of the phone number dispenser app Burner set up a website that reveals what publicly available information can be connected to you just by knowing your phone number.

Jauntful lets you make online city guides and browse user-made ones for free. It’s great for helping out visiting loved ones or planning your own trips. It can also format guides into print-friendly versions.

An interactive gallery of the world’s passports. You can sort and find passports by location, by color and by ranking. The latter reflects a country’s visa restrictions, i.e. how many visa-free destinations are available to its citizens.

In the mood for live music? Check out Shubaloo, a brilliantly streamlined online directory for concerts. It lets you search by location or specific venues as well as music genres, stream artists’ tracks from YouTube and of course buy tickets.
