This stunning work of blacksmithing comes from Black Forge Knives. It’s made from 1095 and 15n20 damascus steel, attached to a hand-carved rosewood handle. After their run on Man at Arms Reforged, Matt Stagmer, Illya Alekseyev, and the swordsmiths of Baltimore Knife and Sword are back with their own channel, That Works. Their first build is an impressive replica of Asta’s imposing sword from Black Clover. It’s not as slickly produced as their previous series, but a bit more informative.

The Pocket Shot is a modern spin on the slingshot. It uses a rubber pouch to hold and fire various projectiles at up to 350 ft. per second. This kit comes with a standard pouch, a Pro pouch, carrying case, and 200 plastic balls to practice with. (Must be 18+ to purchase.)

Weapon enthusiast Joerg Sprave shows off another really cool build. Dubbed the “Sliding Legolini,” this compact bow reloads and repeats with every draw. It can fire at a rate up to 140 arrows per minute, though it only has a 4 bolt capacity. Now, Joerg needs to build a magazine for this thing.

While the idea of a real-world lightsaber sounds awesome, the amount of power required makes the idea impractical. But to celebrate the release of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, The Hacksmith came up with the next best thing, a battery-powered version of the predecessor of the weapon, known as a Protosaber. This teensy single-shot NERF blaster is the perfect little toy to keep in your desk at work. It’s easy for kids or adults to wield and fire, and has two spare darts that store in its top. A great supplemental blaster for short-range battles.

Mad inventor Colin Furze was asked by game maker Blizzard to replicate the Rip-Tire, a spinning weapon featured in Overwatch. His first version was entertaining, but not nearly as deadly as the one in the game. So with the help of a 600cc motorcycle engine, he built another version that is far more dangerous.

Metalsmith Freerk Wieringa walks us through the lengthy process of transforming a steel blank into an incredible weapon – an oversized bowie knife that would make Crocodile Dundee proud. The grinding and sanding sequences are especially satisfying.

Bob Clagett of I Like to Make Stuff admittedly isn’t a weapon-making expert, but he sure knows his way around a bandsaw. In this clip, he shows us how he used some scraps of hardwood flooring to create a wooden practice katana with some very impressive results.

Author Lance Akiyama’s DIY book teaches you how to use popsicle sticks, paint stirrers, PVC pipe, clothespins, and other household objects to create 19 different rubber band and hydraulic-powered weapons and siege engines.

For this dangerous looking build, Giaco Whatever created a really neat NERF weapon – a remote-controlled, CO2-powered bomb which can be placed on the ground, and fires a dozen or so darts in every direction. As an added bonus, he shot a little action movie to go with.

LaserGadgets likes to build all sorts of cool prop weaponry using lasers. For this custom-commissioned build, he created a Militech handgun that looks like it came straight out of the CD Projekt Red RPG Cyberpunk 2077. The hefty replica has LED illumination, and a bright blue laser that’s powerful enough to burst balloons.

Matthew Davis’ Arcus is a 3D-printable rubber band gatling gun. Its unorthodox appearance is more than just for show. Unlike most rubber band guns, the Arcus uses the energy from the rubber bands being shot out to rotate the barrels and continue the barrage. Grab the 3D models and directions on Instructables.

Turns off you don’t need to be the US Navy to build a railgun. YouTuber Ziggy Zee shows off his backyard railgun, which he mounted to an old RoboteX remote-controlled platform. This killer beast fires up to 35,000 joules of electricity, laying to waste anything in its path.

Crafty Transformer takes the cardboard boxes he receives Amazon orders in and converts them into awesome weapons and machines inspired by video games. Among our favorites are the Gundam wrench mace, the Yu-Gi-Oh! duel disk, and the Monster Hunter bowgun.

Factory Entertainment is offering the best replica we’ve seen of the weapon from James Bond’s The Man with the Golden Gun. It has 18kt gold plated components, including a fountain pen, lighter, cigarette case, cufflink, and a “007” inscribed bullet. Comes with a wooden presentation case and a certificate of authenticity.

Looking for a fun NERF toy that nobody else on the block has? The Q has you set, with this sweet bow setup that automatically loads the next foam projectile from its magazine. The DIY build requires PVC pipe, rubber bands, plywood, and some miscellaneous other hardware.

On a recent episode of his series Savage Builds, Adam Savage decided to see if he could replicate the functionality of the awesome 6-in-1 weapon known as the Zorg Industries ZF-1 from The Fifth Element. Here, he shows off the finished build. You’ll need to tune in to see it in action though.

This unusual slingshot is designed to fire full-size archery arrows instead of BBs. It uses 38 to 40 pounds of draw weight, and fits any Pocket Shot or Pocket Hammer handle, which looks like the right way to go from the video. An archery release glove is also required for safety. Not for kids.

If there was ever a build that required a “don’t try this at home” disclaimer, it has to be this insane portable fire vortex generator built by Jairus of All. It uses a series of powerful fans and ductwork to spew forth a giant swirling column of fire.

It may have been made by IronMan Forge, but the ZigZag Cowboy is definitely worthy of the god of thunder. This hunting knife features a unique lightning bolt construction, made doubly attractive by its damascus patterns. It’s on sale at Touch of Modern until 6/13/19 only.

The Backyard Scientist continues to bring the danger with his latest build, an oversized weapon inspired by Maester Qyburn’s dragon-stopping Scorpion from Game of Thrones. This version is drawn with a motorized winch, and doesn’t seem nearly as powerful, but it still is deadly.

Crossbow maker Raduka shows off a truly impressive build – a miniature version of a reverse-draw compound crossbow, capable of firing dangerous little projectiles with tremendous power. All of the parts appear to have been shrunk down from a full-size weapon, and it works just like the real deal.
