Awesome Waffle House

Whether you know the place for its food or eclectic clientele, there’s no mistaking a Waffle House for any other restaurant. Smol World Workshop created the smallest Waffle House we’ve ever seen. The attention to detail in the 1/24-scale model is incredible, from the asphalt parking lot to the fully equipped dining room, complete with condiments on the tables.

Author Micah Cash expands his wonderful Waffle House photo essay from The Bitter Southerner into a book. The 96-page hardbound book incorporates photos taken from inside of the iconic diners across the South, and explores the role that the restaurants play for their customers that goes beyond just bacon and eggs.

Iconic diner Waffle House teamed up with Oconee Brewing to create a beer inspired by their 24-hour-a-day breakfasts. The 6.5% ABV red ale has been infused with the salty, smoky flavors of real bacon, and makes a great accompaniment to morning meals. Available exclusively from the Greensboro, GA brewery starting on 12.18.2020.
