(PG-13: Language) Videogamedunkey gives two furious thumbs down to Mass Effect: Andromeda. The game is fun at times, but in between the janky animations, the labyrinth of menus and the soulless hero, it’s hard to justify why you should spend time and money on it.

(PG-13: Language, SPOILERS) Videogamedunkey plays the excellent action RPG Nier: Automata and realizes that he hates robots. That includes pacifist robots, tall robots and baby robots. Then he finds out how to get to the credits as quickly as possible.

(PG-13: Language) Videogamedunkey shows us one of the reasons why The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the best video games ever made – its physics, tools and weapons let you find joy in coming up with different ways to kill enemies. And yourself.

(PG-13: Language) Videogamedunkey shares a compilation of clips that he felt didn’t warrant their own separate videos. Watch him lament For Honor’s lack of dedicated servers, realize that You Only Live Once and Watch Dogs 2 are as literal as it gets, and more.

(PG-13: Language) “You can go bowling and win a chicken to be one of the managers.” Dunkey reviews the PS4 release of Yakuza 0, a karaoke and bowling simulator with a crime drama on the side. Seriously though, if you love Metal Gear Solid’s schizophrenia, give this a shot.

(PG-13, SPOILERS) Videogamedunkey takes on Capcom’s critically-acclaimed reboot of Resident Evil. It’s a game where you’re stuck in a black and brown world together with the Black Knight and a prop pistol. Seriously though this game is effed up. Hard pass on this.

(PG-13: Language) Videogamedunkey made his own version of YouTube’s annual recap video, focusing on his favorite – or the opposite – YouTubers, including Angry Video Game Nerd, H3H3 and Jaboody Dubs. YouTube views are a hell of a drug.

(PG-13: Language) Videogamedunkey gives an entertaining and pragmatic judgment on Final Fantasy XV for those who are still on the fence about the JRPG. Like Metal Gear Solid V, FF XV has unacceptable flaws, but its gameplay and presentation redeem it.

(PG-13: Language) Videogamedunkey looks at some differences between video game marketing in the U.S. and Japan. In general, it seems the level of enthusiasm on the other side of the planet is just a bit higher than here in the States. That’s not to say it always works.

(PG-13: Language) Videogamedunkey is disappointed at 2016’s gaming releases. But he’s hopeful for indies like Owlboy and Mekazoo. Besides, 2016 also brought us Overwatch, Uncharted 4, Deus Ex: MK, Bravely Second, RimWorld and more.

Videogamedunkey provides his perspective on the highly anticipated, expansive exploration and survival game, which sadly appears to offer its variety only on the surface, and not in the form of gameplay or long-term playability. Regardless, we’re still installing it on our PS4.
