“War does not come with a guarantee.” The modern classic Star Wars: The Clone Wars will finally be given a proper ending. The series will have 12 new episodes released in 2019 on Disney’s upcoming streaming service.

(PG-13: Language, Gore) Titans is a series exclusive to DC Comics’ upcoming streaming service DC Universe. The show is a decidedly darker take on the Teen Titans, with each of the characters struggling with their inner demons. And in the case of Raven, literal ones.

“And don’t forget! A state-of-the-art food court!” Netflix went all in for this short but rad teaser for the third season of Stranger Things. It’s an advertisement for Starcourt Mall, a newly opened mall in the show’s town. It should make for an awesome setting for the series.

“People say every inch of this town is stained with someone’s sin.” Hulu’s Castle Rock is a treat for Stephen King fans. It takes place in the fictional location of many of King’s works. It appears as if some of his characters have populated the town as well. Premieres 7/25/18.

(PG-13: Language) An Idiot Abroad star Karl Pilkington steps out from Ricky Gervais’ shadow with Sick of It, a comedy TV series written by, produced by and starring himself. And himself. The show sees him grappling with adult life while his split persona nags him.

Cartoonist Matt Groening gave us the present with The Simpsons, then he entertained us in a futuristic setting with Futurama. So for his upcoming Netflix show Disenchantment, it’s only fitting that he goes to the past. The show premieres 8/17/18.

(PG-13: Language, Gore) Crime scene analyst and veteran investigator Matthew Steiner sat down with Wired to comment on crime scene investigations in movies and tv shows. He pointed out common mistakes, dangerous moves and impossible findings.

Dexter‘s Michael C. Hall stars in this Netflix series created by crime author Harlan Coben. A doctor living in an affluent neighborhood has just lost his wife when his daughter goes missing. As he tries to track down his child, he discovers his neighbors’ dark secrets.

“Do not bring the Nightflyer back to Earth.” Syfy’s upcoming TV show is based on the eponymous novella by Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, who describes its setup as “a haunted house story in space.” Premieres Fall 2018.

(PG-13) Before canceling the apocalypse and becoming a twisted detective, Idris Elba brought to life one of The Wire‘s most memorable characters. ScreenPrism looks at the philosophy of Stringer Bell – the criminal who thought he was above his crimes.

A comedy series starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as a version of himself who’s also a retired secret agent. He wants to be a spy again, refusing to accept that he’s become more Expendables than Bloodsport. Premieres 12/15/17 on Amazon Video.

(PG-13: Language) “The f**k did I do?” ScreenPrism starts its discussion of HBO’s The Wire with an analysis of Detective Jimmy McNulty. McNulty truly cared about putting bad guys in jail. And that’s about the only good thing we can say about him.

(Flashing lights) Screen Rant talks about 10 popular children’s shows, including Sailor Moon, Tiny Toons and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, which had episodes banned for various reasons, not all of them reasonable.
