Thinking that it’s another attempt by Megatron to foil the Autobots, he quickly reverts to his high and mighty rhetoric. But will he be brought back down to earth and eat his words? 87render and their friends got together to create this great homage to Transformers.

In the latest installment of Awesome Reminders That Time Has Passed, we have this sweet double vinyl record bundle of the music from the original Transformers animated series. Exclusive to Amazon, the bundle features art by Matt Ferguson, two previously unreleased tracks, and a remix of the theme song. It also comes with a 12″ x 12″ card print of the cover art.

While it’s not quite as large or detailed as the LEGO Icons Optimus Prime, this model of Bumblebee is also not as pricey. The 950-piece kit assembles to form the friendly yellow Autobot and can transform from a 10″ tall mech into a compact car inspired by a Volkswagen Beetle. Accessories include an ion blaster, a jetpack, and a display plaque.

Robosen stunned Transformers fans with the self-transforming Optimus Prime. Now, they’ve given the leader of the Decepticons the same treatment. The Flagship Megatron independently converts from robot to tank form and back, along with many other actions. As if that wasn’t awesome enough, it’s voiced by the original voice actor Frank Welker.

Yolopark’s upcoming Transformers G1 action figures are way too good for their price. The AMK Pro Series Optimus Prime and Megatron action figures have sweet battle-damaged paint jobs on their metal and plastic parts. They’re both about 8″ tall and come with lighting effects, weapon accessories, and a display stand.

Canon and Takara Tomy teamed up to create this special Nemesis Prime Transformer that turns from a Decepticon into a Canon EOS R5 camera. When in disguise, the 80% scale camera looks just like the real thing, though sadly, it doesn’t snap photos. Preorder by 4.6.2023 for 1.2024 shipping.

Takara Tomy’s Masterpiece G figures are based on the 1980s anime Transformers: The Headmasters. There are figures of Trainbot Getsuei, Seizan, Shouki, Yukikake, Suikan, and Kaen – each capable of transforming from a heavily-armed robot into an inconspicuous choo-choo train. Combine all six figures to build Raiden.

Toymaker Takara Tomy teamed up with Canon to create two Transformers based on their cameras. The 80% scale EOS R5 comes in Optimus Prime and Reflector versions. They look awesome, but sadly they don’t shoot photos. The Autobot is available for pre-order from BBTS, while the Decepticon is a Takara Tomy Mall exclusive.

This official LEGO Transformers kit lets you build a 13.5″ tall Optimus Prime. Not only do its 1508 bricks accurately capture the look of the Autobot, but it transforms between robot and truck modes. The figure has 19 points of articulation and stores the Autobot Matrix of Leadership in its chest chamber. Drops 6.1.22.

This amazing exoskeleton suit from Skeletonics straps around a human pilot and amplifies their movements without using any motors or electrical components. While it’s not capable of lifting heavy objects like some exosuits, seeing the 9-foot-tall kinetically-powered mech mirror its operator’s movements is pretty amazing.

The always entertaining Cybertronic Spree is back with another awesome rock cover. This time, the musical Transformers took on the 1973 Sweet track Ballroom Blitz and peppered the music video with references to Wayne’s World, which featured a version of the song performed by Crucial Taunt.

The Color.R Touch-Toys YouTube channel is packed with wonderfully satisfying videos of Transformers and other transforming toys changing shapes. We can’t decide which video is our favorite, but the Medicus First Aid ambulance and the WWII Hot Rod are pretty awesome.

Remember when you had to manually transform your Transformers? That changes today, thanks to Hasbro and Robosen. This impressive 19″ tall robot can automatically convert, and can do it via voice or a smartphone app. The G1 Optimus Prime is loaded with 80 sound effects, and the original voice of the Autobot’s leader.

The Cybertronic Spree is a cover band who performs as stylized versions of the Transformers. Beyond their impressive cosplay, they’re also talented musicians, as they demonstrate with this powerful cover version of Heart’s classic Barracuda. The Cybertronic Spree is a Transformers-themed tribute band who plays a variety of cartoon, videogame, and anime theme songs dressed in awesome costumes. During a 2019 concert, they also performed a truly entertaining cover of Led Zeppelin’s emphatically chanted Immigrant Song.

Manila-based maker Real Awesome Workz shows off their epic costume replica of The Transformers’ friendly yellow autobot Bumblebee, which he built primarily out of lightweight EVA foam. The weathered paint job by Preslie Saraza and KT Berondo really help to bring it to life. Be sure to stick around to the end for Battle Mode Bee.
