Awesome Tiki

Geeki Tikis makes all kinds of wonderful tiki mugs inspired by pop culture. Their Star Wars collection is quite extensive and recently added this awesome ceramic mug that looks like a TIE fighter. It holds up to 24 oz. of your favorite Star Wars cocktail. They also make a Death Star tiki mug for tipsy fly-bys.

Add a splash of Polynesian style to your cocktails with these metal swizzle sticks from Tikiland Trading Co. Each one is cast from an original mini sculpture and includes designs like a rum barrel, a crow’s nest, an anchor, a parrot, or a tribal mask. Sadly, the Jolly Roger skull and swords design is sold out.

Tiki bars have had a bit of a resurgence of late, with their Polynesian-themed cocktails and kitschy tropical decor. Sven Kirsten’s 640-page, hardcover coffee table book delves into the history of America’s pop take on tiki culture, with lots of wonderful archival photos and historical artifacts dating back as far as the 1930s.

Mondo worked with artist Florian Bertmer to make this highly detailed tiki mug featuring the Christmas devil. The handmade Krampus mug has a wiped red glaze on white finish and holds up to 16oz of drinks. Or coal.

Mondo’s latest tiki mug is based on the classic slasher flick Halloween. It has a Jack o’ Lantern design on the front and a Michael Myers “carving” on the back. It also comes with two Halloween Slasher swizzle sticks.

These playful ceramic tiki mugs are based on General Mills’ spooky cereal mascots Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry (sorry, Frute Brute fans.) They were sold in limited numbers at SDCC 2018, but it looks like another batch is up for pre-order at Entertainment Earth.

Beeline Creative turned some of Rick and Morty‘s characters into dishwasher- and microwave-safe 15oz tiki mugs. Choose from Rick, Morty, Pickle Rick, Evil Morty, Birdperson, Scary Terry, Mr. Meeseeks, Squanchy, Krombopulos Michael, and Mr. Poopy Butthole.

Mondo’s latest tiki mug is designed to look like one of Jurassic Park‘s baby raptors breaking through its shell. The mug has a 1.6oz capacity and comes in three limited edition variants. A fourth variant will be limited to the Alamo Drafthouse.

Mondo pays homage to the revered prophet from Planet of the Apes for its latest line of Tee-kis tiki mugs. The Lawgiver mug has a capacity of 18oz and comes in four colorways, including a sweet bloody one. A deep brown colorway will be released at a later date.

For its latest tiki mug, Mondo turned to renowned illustrator William Stout. Stout designed a beautiful yet still imposing figure of H.P. Lovecraft’s evil creation onto a 16oz, 8″ carafe. It’s available in four different colors.
