Awesome Tiki

This unique tiki mug from artist Tom “Thor” Thordarson and Tikiland Trading Co. looks like an old bottle that washed up on the shore. Add a splash of Polynesian style to your cocktails with these metal swizzle sticks from Tikiland Trading Co. We love the look of Geeki Tikis’ ceramic tiki tumblers, but if you’d prefer something more kid-friendly and portable, check out these versions that are made from BPA-free plastic. Tiki bars have had a bit of a resurgence of late, with their Polynesian-themed cocktails and kitschy tropical decor. Sven Kirsten’s 640-page, hardcover coffee table book delves into the history of America’s pop take on tiki culture, with lots of wonderful archival photos and historical artifacts dating back as far as the 1930s.

Mondo worked with artist Florian Bertmer to make this highly detailed tiki mug featuring the Christmas devil. The handmade Krampus mug has a wiped red glaze on white finish and holds up to 16oz of drinks. Or coal.

Mondo’s latest tiki mug is based on the classic slasher flick Halloween. It has a Jack o’ Lantern design on the front and a Michael Myers “carving” on the back. It also comes with two Halloween Slasher swizzle sticks.

These playful ceramic tiki mugs are based on General Mills’ spooky cereal mascots Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry (sorry, Frute Brute fans.) They were sold in limited numbers at SDCC 2018, but it looks like another batch is up for pre-order at Entertainment Earth.
