Why lock your toolbox with a padlock when you can secure it with Thor’s mighty hammer? Maker B machined and engraved a mini Mjölnir from a block of metal. Hidden inside its head is a latch mechanism that automatically clips around a lock hasp. A twist of the handle unlocks it. We’re impressed with the attention to detail in things like the hidden screws.

Gravity makes it easy to glide down a zipline, but traveling uphill requires additional energy. The guys from Hacksmith Industries built a motorized ziplining rig that allows riders to fly up to 81 km/h up the line. To make it look like Thor’s mighty Mjolnir, they hid the mechanism inside a machined hammer shell and connected a harness to its handle.

It’s not too hard for most mortals to lift dumbbells. On the other hand, you must prove yourself worthy to lift Mjölnir. Random Hands shows us how they cut up plates from rusty old dumbbells and welded the metal together to make a hefty but liftable version of Thor’s mighty hammer. The finished Mjölnir can be wielded by a new owner for $5000.

Thor’s mighty hammer can only be lifted by those who are worthy. Random Hands qualified for the feat by building their own Mjolnir, cutting apart an old bench anvil, attaching laser-cut decorations, lathing a metal handle, then covering it with wood and metal rings. Watching the grinder remove the old surface is so satisfying.

The Hacksmith spent more than the cost of Tesla Model S to make the world’s largest Thor’s hammer. His team fabricated the enormous Mjolnir by painstakingly welding numerous sheets of steel. It measures more than 15 feet tall when standing on its head. Watching it get dipped into the galvanizing tanks was amazing.

The Hulk and Thor have joined forces in the MCU, but this isn’t the first time they got together on screen. In 1988, the made-for-TV movie Incredible Hulk Returns brought back Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno in an overacting competition with Eric Allan Kramer as a fair-haired Viking warrior who laughs way too much.

There’s already a Mjolnir toolbox but it’s made from plastic and filled with junky tools. To celebrate the release of Thor: Love and Thunder, Jonathan at ShadowFoam built a much better version. He made the toolbox from a pair of metal cases, filled it with foam liners and quality tools and a sawed-off sledgehammer for its handle.

Taika Waititi’s latest Marvel flick is sure to bring as much humor as it does action.

Taika Waititi returns to the MCU with his follow-up to the brilliant Thor: Ragnarok. The story follows our hero as he takes a break from the action but finds his peace interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher. Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are back, adding Tessa Thompson as King Valkyrie and Christian Bale as Gorr. Drops 7.8.22.

Random Hands had an old anvil he used for blacksmithing tasks. When it was time to replace the rusty old thing, he chopped out a 40-pound chunk from its center and gradually reworked it into Thor’s mighty hammer, Mjölnir. Stick around to the end to see if he’s worthy and can lift it.

DiesInEveryFilm Customs‘ latest build is pretty nifty. He crafted a teensy version of Thor’s mighty hammer using a layered, damascus-style steel head. He got the idea from fellow artist Brandon Hyner, who makes mini Mjölnir pendants.

Bait’s officially licensed Marvel tees feature the name of some of the headliners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and their hometown as simple text graphics. Our only complaint is that they gave New York to Tony Stark instead of to Peter Parker.
