LEGO Technics expert builder Shadow Elenter adds another ride to his miniature theme park. His latest build is a dizzying thrill ride which would make even the most iron-stomached Minifig lose its LEGO lunch. Be sure to stick around for a little bonus at 3:13.

This wonderful LEGO VIP set is sure to be a collectible. The 4,124 piece roller coaster features a chainlift that can be upgraded with a motor, and tons of little details like a ticket booth, cotton candy cart, concession stand, and coaster cars with movable lap bars.

A look at the scale model of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a massive new section that will open at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort in 2019. Visitors will meet many Star Wars characters, check out a Star Destroyer hangar, and even fly the Millenium Falcon. More here.

Beyond the Brick takes a look at James Burrows’ incredible prehistoric-themed amusement park made from over 125,000 bricks. We so wish we could shrink down to minifig size and take a ride on the CoasterSaurus II.

CoasterForce shares an impressively crisp and immersive 4K video of The Monster, a new roller coaster located at Adventureland Iowa, complete with a crazy 101° vertical drop, crazy banks, and five inversions. The nighttime off-ride footage is worth watching too.

Disney’s theme parks can be fun for the whole family. But they’re also expensive, exhausting, and have ridiculous queues for the attractions. Instead, wish we could visit Dobbsland, a tiny amusement park built by retired engineer Steve Dobbs right in his own backyard.

SkyCaliber is a crazy new waterslide coming to Vernon, New Jersey’s Action Park in 2016. The ride stands 90 feet tall, and sends riders through a loop de loop in a special capsule at speeds up to 50mph. Apparently, they tried this before.

Coming to Orlando, Florida in 2016, the mile-long Skyscraper will likely be one of the world’s most insane rollercoasters, snaking its way around a 55-story tower at speeds up to 65mph. Part of the new Skyplex entertainment complex.

The Batman: The Ride roller coaster has chairs swing and flip independently as they go about the already twisted track, apparently causing riders to experience weightlessness. Opens at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in 2015.

Photographer Thomas Schwarz uses the bright lights of the Midway as the light source for this dizzying time-lapse visit to a theme park that’s sure to wake you up from whatever stupor you might find yourself in from surfing the web.

The House of Air, an indoor trampoline park at Building 926 in the Presidio is “giving flight to the flightless” with dodgeball, open jump time and aerial training. Opens 9/15/10. (Thanks Carter!)

The Scorpion’s Tail, a nearly vertical waterslide loop at Noah’s Ark Water Park in Wisconsin Dells, is 10 stories high, 400′ long and has an initial drop that reaches speeds of more than 50 feet/second.

With recent financial troubles Dubai World’s Marvel Theme Park may be a flight of fancy, but it’s still a super heroic idea: it’ll feature attractions for Spiderman, the X-Men, and more.
