Apparently, the producers of The Grand Tour would like the cast of the hit automotive show to be a bit less British and a bit more American. So Jeremy, Richard, and James set about fulfilling that request for Season 2 of the Amazon series… with hilarious results.
The Grand Tour
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May go car skiing, wreck an airplane, take a mud bath, and of course hit the open road in all manner of exotic supercars. The Grand Tour returns to Amazon Prime Video on 12/8/2017. Let’s hope they killed off Celebrity Brain Crash.
(PG-13: Language) British GQ continues to entertain with their chill video interview series, this time taking on Jezza, Captain Slow and The Hamster as they chat about their current daily drivers, the differences between Amazon and the BBC, the state of TV, and celebrity life.
Like most gearheads, we’re stoked for the return of Clarkson, Hammond, and May, with their epic new Amazon series. The trailer gives only the tiniest taste of what’s to come, but we’ve heard the opening sequence is the single most expensive shot in the history of television.
Jeremy, Richard, and James May dropped by The Late Late Show, but not to perform Carpool Karaoke. Instead, they took host James Corden for three laps around Willow Springs in a Corvette Grand Sport while he offered up trivia questions which affected their lap times.
Jezza, The Hamster, and Captain Slow’s new show The Grand Tour appears to be exactly the same as their old show. They still race cars, make dad jokes, and need a tame racing driver. Perhaps they’ll choose the old Stig, who turned up in this post-Top Gear clip that’s making the rounds.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May return after leaving Top Gear in the dust, and tease us ever so slightly with some of the epic locations and crazy cars they’ll be driving in season one. Episodes will release weekly starting 11/18/16 on Amazon Prime Video.
