(PG-13: Language/Gore) What would it be like if Billy Butcher and Hughie found themselves facing off against the supes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Alternative Cuts offers their take on how things might go down if The Boys had a run-in with Spider-Man after Peter Parker got shot up with Compound V.
Awesome The Boys
(PG-13: Gore, Language) Homelander has been pushed even further off the rails, Billy Butcher has temporary Supe powers, and Soldier Boy makes his grand and bloody entrance for what’s bound to be another brutal and visceral season of Amazon Prime’s hit comic book series, The Boys. Premieres 6.3.2022.
(PG-13) Prime Video is starting to expand The Boys universe with the roll-out of its first spin-off. Diabolical is an eight-part animated series, each illustrated in a different style, and each telling a tale that lives in the same warped universe as the main show. Expect plenty of violence, gore, and chaos when it lands 3.4.2022.
(Gore) Amazon’s uber-violent superheroes-gone-bad series The Boys gets its first spin-off. This animated anthology consists of eight short stories, each told with a unique visual style. This brief first-look teaser introduces us to a baby with similar superpowers to Homelander and the same disregard for human life. Premieres 3.4.22.
(Flashing Lights) When you’re faster than the speed of light, you occasionally run into people and turn them into a pile of goo. The Boys’ literal and figurative speed freak A-Train just dropped his own official music video, courtesy of Vought International, with Aimée Proal lending her powerhouse pop vocals.
If you watch The Boys, you know that Homelander is a serious egomaniac. So we imagine that he’d be thrilled that artist Dr. Garuda decided to make this picture-perfect clay sculpture to show off his Aryan good looks, all-American costume, and killer red eyes. Though Homie would prefer a towering 30-foot-tall sculpture of himself.
(PG-13: Language, Gore) Let’s face it. Michael Reeves has built some weird stuff. Now, thanks to a sponsorship from Amazon series The Boys, he got to build a laser-eyed baby just like the one that Billy Butcher wields in the show. Though he struggles a little to meet the demands of Amazon’s marketing department.
(PG-13: Gore) With its over-the-top violence and incredibly questionable morality, the Amazon Prime series The Boys is definitely not for everyone. We enjoyed the wild ride for its first season, and are looking forward to seeing what’s next. Of course, Screen Junkies has a thing or two to say before season two kicks off.
(PG-13: Language, Gore) After the surprising reveal at the end of season 1, Billy Butcher and the lads are on the run, while Vought International takes advantage of panic on the streets and introduces a new supe who could push Homelander further over the edge, if that’s even possible. Premieres 9.4.2020 on Prime Video.
(PG-13: Language, Gore) After the horrifying events of season one, Billy Butcher, Hughie and their gang are on the run from Vought’s so-called superheroes, while a new member of the team, Stormfront, could shake things up even for the lead megalomaniac Homelander. Premieres 9.4.2020 on Amazon Prime Video.
(PG-13: Language/Gore) From the warped minds behind Preacher comes a new Amazon Prime series which envisions a world in which superheroes abuse their superpowers instead of use them for good, while our protagonists “The Boys” do their best to expose and take down the super-evildoers. Drops 7/26/19.
