In the Avengers movies, Iron Man’s armor packs laser gauntlets powerful enough to cut through steel. Hacksmith Industries wanted to know if they could make a real-life version that works just as well. The heart of the build is a 1500-watt fiber laser from a laser welder. They also used lasers to do all the fabrication.

Nick Fury is back on Earth after working with the Skrulls in deep space for years. Now, these shapeshifting aliens have infiltrated our planet and are hiding in plain sight. Samuel L. Jackson is joined by Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle in this new Disney+ series slated for 2023.

This 630-page hardcover book from Taschen compiles pristine copies of the first 20 stories of The Avengers. The Famous First Edition will get 5000 numbered copies, while the Collector’s Edition is limited to 1000.

In addition to Doc Ock, expect appearances from Green Goblin, Sandman, Electro, and more. The jury’s still out if we’ll get Toby Maguire or Andrew Garfield, though.

In his new Disney+ series, Tom Hiddleston portrays an alternative-universe version of Loki who managed to evade capture by the Avengers. But this Loki finds himself arrested by the Time Variance Authority, where he is recruited to help stop the very threats he created by stealing the Tesseract. Premieres 6.11.2021.

Artist dP Truong spent over 3 months working on this impressive flipbook animation based on the “I’m Always Angry” scene in The Avengers, as Dr. Bruce Banner transforms into his alter ego Hulk and takes on a massive mechanical enemy. The finished flipbook is made up from a whopping 1093 individual images.
