If you’re going to make glass doors and windows, they better be able to hold up to extreme weather. In this short video from Lolands, we see the kind of extreme torture test their company uses to ensure their installations don’t leak. Using a high speed turbine fan and water, this machine simulates the powerful winds and rain that might hit during a typhoon.

A crossbow is Daryl Dixon’s weapon of choice in the zombie apocalypse. But how accurate and effective are they, really? Mike Shake put five crossbows to the test, ranging from a $300 replica of a medieval crossbow to a $4400 high-speed beast. He scored each by its energy, accuracy, penetration, and lethality. Those high-end weapons are awesomely terrifying.

Pianos must be able to play hundreds of thousands or possibly millions of notes during their lifetimes. This fascinating video shows how one piano manufacturer tests their mechanisms while loosening up any stiff parts before delivery. The machine has 88 “fingers” that each strike a key in rapid succession.
