Awesome Tennessee

Time travel back to the 1970s at The Dive Motel in East Nashville, Tennessee, where good vibes and disco balls beckon road trippers along US-41. More than retro, it’s wacko with 23 unique themed rooms, including a spaceship, jungle, mountain cabin, and something that looks like a pink powderpuff.

This smooth but potent whiskey from Memphis, Tennessee distillery Blue Note has won back-to-back Double Gold awards in San Francisco’s World Spirits Competition. The easy-to-sip spirit is finished in toasted French oak barrels for a bold caramel flavor with vanilla undertones and a deep amber color.

We recently had the privilege of visiting George Dickel Tennessee Whisky’s famous Cascade Hollow Distillery, and went behind the scenes to see how grains, water, and yeast are transformed into wonderful whiskies for us to enjoy. Here, we share our tour in photos.
